Wait a
second! Did I say privacy?
It’s a
proven fact that we perform better when being watched by others. Going to gym
is therefore more rewarding that working out alone in home. Our brain is very
sensitive to being watched; it affects our decision-making skills and our
performance. In a positive context, it gathers motivation to affect desired changes.
While it’s
good to have some simple exercise equipments at home, it’s definitely injudicious
to cut off the gym membership. A good gymnasium offers a broad range of different types of exercise equipment
like weight trainers, elliptical trainers, street striders, exercise machines,
treadmills, and other gears to enhance the training effect of a particular
workout regimen. This is not possible at home unless we’re prepared to spend a
huge sum of money assembling them. Even if we do that, we won’t find expert
advice of a trainer concerning our fitness goal. Going to gym should be the first priority if we’re really concerned about reaching our fitness goals.
If going to gym is not viable due to some reasons,we can try to gather
likeminded friends and work out together—the same psychological effect of being
watched applies here. If that too is unfeasible, the last thing we can do is
work out in a room with a big mirror where we can see your own reflection.
Seriously, that helps!
