People associate ‘travelling-for-leisure’ as something that
brings in a lot of pleasure and enjoyment. Travelling is said to reduce stress,
and rejuvenate mind and body. It is prescribed as a medicine to peoples who
have anxiety issues. While those who travel passionately understand the
benefits it endows, there are many who consider travelling a waste of time.
This blog post is typically written for those who don’t give much priority to travel
and consider journeying a way to atrophy the ‘so-called’ precious time!
Here I’ve
listed four reasons why you should travel a lot.
1. You get to understand human nature better
Travel helps you understand human psychology better, which
in turn enhances the quality of your life. Getting out of your comfort zone and
landing up on a whole new territory, meeting different kinds of peoples, and
being exposed to their cultures gives you an opportunity to comprehend how the
world is like. In other words, it helps you refurbish the model of your world,
and judge people on the basis of your experiences, rather than presuppositions.
Being a student of journalist, I travel virtuously (and
frequently). It’s just because of this lifestyle that I am able to judge and
communicate with people in better way, write better articles, and get my works
done easily.
2. You get
exposed to more opportunities
It’s an obvious fact that the more you travel, the more
exposure you get. This exposure can lead to both negative and positive
experiences. While it’s true that travelling to unknown territories increases
your chances of falling victim to scams and swindles, it’s eaqually genuine to
say that travel increases your chances of landing a good job, or even a dream
job!
I realized this fact only last month when I went to the city
of Mysore as a trainee for filmmaking. It was not a compulsory project for us
to attend, and most of my fellow classmates didn’t bothered to get involved. I,
however, decided to go because I love travelling. And guess what, this
decisision turned out to be life
chamging for me because the directors and producers whom I met got impressed by
my work, and promised me to be a part of three upcoming projects!
Never reject a proposal that involves travelling. Who knows
it may make you the next biggest millionaire!
3. You get
more chances of getting a date (and sex) with girl of your type
Travelling increases your chances of finding casual dates.
Usually, finding a short term partner appears daunting in places where you
experience lots of social precincts: in high school, college campus, or in the
family. If you already have a partner who doesn’t satisfy your needs, the best
way to contend with your sexual indigence is to travel.
Psychology says that you feel more self confident in a place
where nobody knows you. If you use that confidence to ask a girl or a boy out
there, there’s an ample chance that She/he will say yes.
When I say travelling helps you get laid, don’t
misunderstand it for hooking up with a whore. There’re lots of girls with
starving pus*sies out there, willing to get laid just for pleasure. You just
need to be at the right place: bars, nightclubs, beach, and even festivals. (My
friend narrated me an experience when he met a girl in train while he was
travelling to Delhi. Today they both are engaged.
BE CAREFUL AND DON’T HOOK UP WITH PROSTITUTES
ALWAYS INVOLVE IN SAFE SEX. USE CONDOMS.
4. You get a
chance to change yourself
Travelling has a therapeutic effect on your mind and body.
Each journey influences you in curative ways changing your personality and your
picture of the world. Each journey teaches you a new concept of living. Often,
people who don’t travel much have a narrow minded attitude towards life, and
live a life of prejudice. On the other hand, those who travel frequently are
more open minded and easy going.
Travelling can also help people cope up with their shyness,
because it involves getting out of your comfort zone and interacting with a lot
of people. This talkativeness slowly gets incorporated into your behavior, and
you feel more comfortable with people around you.
